Projects Path to Freedom

Bikepacking je pro mě cestou do světa, kde se vše redukuje na přítomný okamžik, kde každý kilometr odhaluje nové příběhy. Cesta se stává jedinou spojnicí mezi člověkem a krajinou. Snažím se zachytit okamžiky, které jsou těžko popsatelné slovy – nečekané západy slunce, ticho hlubokých lesů, přátelství, která vznikají u táborových ohňů, a prosté, ale intenzivní štěstí, které mi přináší to vše žít.

Možná ale hledám jen esenci volnosti, otisky neznámého terénu, kde hranice neexistují, a vše mi to připomíná, že svoboda je mnohdy ukryta v těch nejprostších momentech, daleko od komfortních zón. Nechtěl jsem dokumentovat krajinu, ale zachytit to, co nás spojuje – přátelství, sdílená radost i vzájemná podpora na cestách. S těmi, kdo se vydali stejnou cestou, tvoříme jedinečnou komunitu, která rozumí tiché kráse světa za obzorem a respektu, který k němu chováme.

Bikepacking for me is a journey into a world where everything is reduced to the present moment, where every kilometer reveals new stories. The road becomes the only link between man and the landscape. I strive to capture moments that are hard to describe in words - the unexpected sunsets, the silence of the deep woods, the friendships that form around campfires, and the simple but intense happiness that living it all brings.

But maybe I'm just looking for the essence of freedom, the imprints of an unknown terrain where boundaries don't exist, and it all reminds me that freedom is often hidden in the most ordinary moments, far from comfort zones. I didn't want to document the landscape, but to capture what connects us - friendship, shared joy and mutual support on the road. With those who have taken the same path, we form a unique community that understands the quiet beauty of the world beyond the horizon and the respect we have for it.
